Rhyl Community Fire Station Open Day
PostedRhyl Community Fire Station will be opening its doors for a family fun open day between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, August 25th.
Firefighters will be joined by staff from North Wales Police, Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust and the RNLI on the day and visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about the work of the emergency services.
There will also be a range of equipment used by the emergency services on display and staff will be carrying out equipment demonstrations.
Planned activities include games, raffles (prizes donated by local businesses), face painting and a gymnastics display. Refreshments will also be available.
Entry to the event is completely free, and all other money raised will be donated to St Kentigerns Hospice.
Those calling by will also have the opportunity to register for a free home fire safety check, as well as receiving fire safety advice.
